"Just fried my steak. Surprisingly it was well seasoned. No need to add any salt or seasoning. It’s a little salty. The entire and flavor is very good. The size mimics a filet mignon. It would feel n look more authentic if it was a little larger. Overall I would purchase it again. I would give it a five is less sodium ( cut it in half) and a little larger."

Before I discuss flavor, let me mention that although Beyond Ground does not precisely mimic the taste of ground beef, I actually prefer it to ground beef. I tried the filet twice--the first time I thought it reminded me of liver, the second it was merely bland. You need to do a bit more work on flavor, at which point my partner and I will buy it as enthusiastically as we do Beyond Ground!"
